All major hosting companies strive to provide their customers with integrated name servers. DNSmanager allows you to do so for all kinds of hosting, such as shared hosting, virtual private servers and dedicated servers.

ISPmanager integration
Suppose you have two name servers (such as ns1.hoster.com and ns2.hoster.com) running DNSmanager. You wish all the domains created by your clients on shared hosting, virtual or dedicated servers to be automatically created on our name servers, and all changes made to these domains to be applied to ns1.hoster.com and ns2.hoster.com
Solution
- In each DNSmanager create a Reseller account and specify DNS name spaces that will be used for ns1.hoster.com and ns2.hoster.com. (Documentation).
- Log in to DNSmanager as Reseller to create a user for each server running ISPmanager, and specify the same name space as you provided for that reseller (the reseller must be the owner of the newly created user account).
- Go to ISPmanager and provide parameters to access DNSmanager, including the IP-address, username and password that were specified on the first step. (Documentation).
Once you have finished, the domain zones created on a server running ISPmanager will be automatically created on ns1.hoster.com and ns2.hoster.com. All changes made to the zone will be applied to those name servers.
VDSmanager integration
If you have VDSmanager you can customize integration with DNSmanager. When creating a virtual server, DNSmanager access parameters will be automatically specified in ISPmanager (if installed). All other operations will be performed according to the procedure described above.
Follow the instructions below to configure integration with DNSmanager:
- Create a Reseller account on the servers running DNSmanager (Documentation).
- Go to VDSmanager and provide required parameters to access name servers (Documentation).
