Ispmanager 6.119: Business to Host Migration, Smart Backups & Resource Limits
We’ve recently rolled out ispmanager 6.119 with some improvements for hosting providers and system administrators. Here’s what’s new!
A Smooth Business to Host Migration
You can now seamlessly import users from ispmanager business to host via rsync. This method saves disk space and doesn't require creating backups.
Backup Storage for Deleted Users
It’s now possible to retain backups of deleted users for a set number of days. This should be particularly helpful for providers of shared hosting services.
The provider sets the backup retention period. If the user returns within that time, their data can be easily restored.
User Resource Limits in ispmanager host
Previously, limiting user resources was only possible in ispmanager business. Now, it’s available in ispmanager host, too, which means shared hosting providers will have better control over server load.
The limits include:
- Traffic usage;
- CPU time;
- RAM consumption;
- User processes;
- MySQL connections & queries;
- Cron jobs;
- Apache handlers, and more.
