Order a multi-domain SAN SSL certificate to protect multiple domain names. It only needs to be installed and renewed once for all domains, so it’s perfect for large projects.
SAN SSL certificates can protect several different domain names. For example, example.com , example.net, and site.com so they come in handy if you maintain many different domains. Instead of having to keep track of multiple expiry dates, just order and renew a single certificate before it expires.
Regular SAN certificate that protects a few of any specific domains. For example, example.com, mysite.com, etc. On our website, it is labeled SAN, without the FQDN prefix.
Protects the main domain and specific subdomains. For example, SubSAN will protect the main domain ispmanager.ru and the subdomains mail.ispmanager.ru 1.2.ispmanager.ru and 220.127.116.11.ispmanager.ru specified in the order for the certificate.
Allows you to add Wildcard values to a SAN certificate, i.e., to protect subdomains. For example, for a certificate for ispmanager.ru, you can add the SANWC value *.domain.com which will protect all third-level subdomains (mail.domain.com, forum.domain.com, etc.).
Easier to manage
A single certificate is easier to install and renew. It's easier to keep large projects under control with a SAN.
If you have multiple domains, a SAN can be cheaper than buying multiple individual SSLs.
For any architecture
Some servers do not support multiple SSL installations. SAN solves this problem – no additional configuration is required.
A SAN certificate is ideal if you manage a large number of domains. It will make them much easier to maintain and save you money: you just renew the certificate once for all domain names, so you don't have to keep track of the expiration dates of multiple SSLs.
Another benefit is cost-effectiveness. Getting an additional domain on a SAN is cheaper than buying a separate certificate. So depending on the number of domains, branding, and additional options, a SAN may be more cost-effective than buying separate certificates.
It depends on the specific type of certificate, but on average, from 2 to 100 or more domains. You can find the terms and conditions of SSL in our showcase.
Select the certificate in ispmanager and click "Buy". Then, fill out the application form. If you have any questions about SSL certificates, enter them in the chat in the lower right corner of the site – we’re always happy to help!
