Ubuntu 20.04 Reaches End of Life: What It Means for ispmanager Users

In May 2025, Ubuntu 20.04 reaches its official End of Life (EOL). This means the OS will stop receiving security updates from the Ubuntu team. Ispmanager is adjusting support accordingly.

What Changes in ispmanager?

Starting in May, it will no longer be possible to install ispmanager on Ubuntu 20.04 without a special key. However, we’ll continue to release updates and provide technical support for existing installations for six more months, until November 2025.

What Should ispmanager Users Do?

We recommend migrating to a server with a supported operating system — that’s the safest and most future-proof path.

If migration isn’t possible right away, you can choose to change the OS on your current server. We’ve previously outlined both options in more detail in our blog.
