Starting June 1, 2025, we will no longer sell new ispmanager business licenses (but we’ll continue renewing and supporting existing ones). Below, we explain this decision and why the host plan now offers even richer opportunities for shared hosting.
Why Phase Out ispmanager business?
To begin with, phasing out the business plan means that active development on it will stop. However, all existing licenses will remain fully active and supported for as long as necessary without any new conditions or limitations.
The point is that the architecture of the business plan made it difficult to deliver new features and updates at the same pace as the lite product line. To better serve all our users, we’ve decided to focus our development efforts on the latter and to evolve ispmanager host into a full-featured solution for shared hosting.
Today, ispmanager host offers all the essential features of the business plan, plus the full functionality of the lite line, including support for Python, Node.js, and Docker.

What to Do Next?
If you currently use ispmanager business, you can continue using your license just as before — it remains active and fully functional with no forced changes.
And if you’re seeking a modern shared hosting solution with expanded capabilities, ispmanager host now encompasses all business plan features, plus native support for Python, Node.js, and Docker environments.
Migration is simple:
- Install ispmanager host on a new server.
- Transfer users with the User Import tool.
Starting from ispmanager 6.119, users can transfer data from ispmanager 5 and 6 business versions via rsync. This method saves disk space and doesn't require creating backups.
Besides, you can migrate gradually: set up host and start creating new users there, while disabling new user creation on business. This way, the load on the old servers will decrease over time. Once only a few users remain on business, you can easily move them to host.
Timeline for the Business Plan Phase-Out
Here’s the timeline:
- June 1, 2025: We will stop selling ispmanager business licenses.
- Until June 1, 2026: Updates and technical support for ispmanager business will continue.
- After June 1, 2026: Updates and technical support will be fully discontinued.
Even after the tariff freeze, you can keep buying nodes (servers) for your current ispmanager business licenses. All licenses will stay active and can be renewed indefinitely without any functional limitations. After technical support ends on June 1, 2026, we will continue to provide assistance with security-related issues.

FAQ
Is there a way to migrate from ispmanager business to host on the same server?
Currently, there’s no built-in mechanism for migrating from business to host on the same server. The main reason is that most business installations run on outdated operating systems, which makes a safe and reliable conversion impossible without first upgrading the OS.
However, upgrading the OS in-place on a live server is technically complex, risky, and often unpredictable. It can lead to downtime and system instability. As such, we do not recommend or guarantee successful migration from business to host on the same server.
Instead, we recommend a safer, more controlled approach: deploy a new server with a modern OS, install ispmanager host, and migrate data from business using the built-in User Import tool.
What happens to business licenses after June 1, 2025?
All existing ispmanager business licenses will remain fully functional and can be renewed indefinitely. However, new feature updates will no longer be released after June 1, 2025, and technical support will end on June 1, 2026.
What if a security issue is discovered?
If a security vulnerability is found in the business edition, a security patch will be released. Please contact our technical support team with any security concerns.
Ispmanager host doesn’t currently support MySQL Governor. Will that change?
Yes, support for MySQL Governor is planned for ispmanager host in Q3 2025.
If updates and support are ending, why do I still need to pay for my license?
An active license is still required to use the product. Ispmanager business will remain fully operational, with no restrictions on its usage.
Your license payments help us maintain the infrastructure and ensure the security of existing installations, while also supporting the development of ispmanager host — a modern, future-ready solution for shared hosting.
