We regularly update ispmanager in accordance with market requirements and users' opinions. The panel has already seen quite a few improvements this year, as you can see roadmap. Here I will also tell you about the changes in the roadmap. We are adjusting the development plan so that the improvements that many people expect will come out faster.

Plans for Q4 2022

Some features that were planned for the third quarter of this year will come out later: we moved the work on them in favor of other improvements. Here are the major updates that will be out by the end of 2022:

  • PHP Composer will be released as early as October 25 in beta release 6.61 for Lite, Pro, and Host versions. We will release support for the Business version by the end of the year.
  • The dark panel theme will be released in the November 22 beta 6.63 update. In anticipation of the release, our QA engineer Maria Kolchanova explained how to properly design and test a dark theme, considering the peculiarities of human eyesight. It is definitely a must-read.
  • Dr.Web – an anti-virus protection module for websites. We plan to make Dr.Web available to users from beta release 6.63 on November 22, 2022.
  • Docker support is in the works right now and will be out in Q4 for the Pro and Host versions.
  • Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect against DDoS will be released before the end of the year, as planned.
  • Home page widgets will also be released in Q4.
  • The development of the notification system, Python, Django, Git, OpenVPN will be underway in Q4. Their release dates are not yet set, but we'll keep you posted.
  • Support for Rocky Linux OS will be implemented towards the end of the year.

All of these changes will soon be reflected in the >roadmap.

The following were postponed to 2023:

  • support for MongoDB,
  • server and website monitoring systems.

Another upcoming change: starting January 1, 2023, support for Ubuntu 16.04 will cease. EOL came in April 2021, but we have continued to support this OS due to user requests. No updates are released for Ubuntu 16.04, while outdated software is insecure and prevents you from using the latest innovations.

At the beginning of December, we are announcing plans for product development in 2023. If you wish to request improvements to ispmanager, suggest a new feature, or leave feedback, let us know in Discord and Facebook.
