Pointing a domain to the correct server
Pointing or linking a domain to a specific server is accomplished by specifying the server's IP address for the A-record of the desired domain.
To do this, in your domain name registrar's personal account, go to the Domains section (the name may vary), find the section for managing DNS records (or resource records) for the desired domain, and change the A-record value to specify the IP address of the server hosting the website content for that domain.
