Failing to redirect from HTTP to HTTPS

Symptoms

When attempting to edit the Redirect HTTP-requests to HTTPS option as the root user, the error «You have insufficient permissions to access the website» is displayed.

Causes

The current site's alias is a domain name owned by another panel user.

Solution

Aliases specified for the site must not belong to other panel users.
