Disabling LiteSpeed
The web server can be disabled when:
- the license expires
- LiteSpeed crashes
- the web server is manually disable
There are two ways to disable it in the ispmanager web interface:
After LiteSpeed is disabled
Once the web server is disabled in ispmanager, the following will happen automatically:
- Apache (MPM-Prefork) web server will be installed.
- LiteSpeed configuration files for websites will switch to Apache.
- the activated web server license will be unlinked.
- for users, the default PHP mode will be set to not specified.
- for websites, the PHP mode will change to the CGI.
Disabling LiteSpeed via Modules
- Log in to the ispmanager with an administrator-level account or above.
- Navigate to the Modules section.
Find LiteSpeed in the list and click
next to the module.
- Confirm complete removal of the module.
- Wait for the module and the web server to uninstall.
Disabling LiteSpeed via Software configuration
- Log in to the ispmanager panel with superuser rights.
- Navigate to the Software configuration section.
- Select the Web server (WWW) section and click
on the toolbar.
- Uncheсk the LiteSpeed box.
Save the changes.
- Wait for the module and the web server to uninstall.
