User settings
In the User settings section, you can configure individual settings of your control panel. Click on your username in the right upper corner of the screen → click Settings.
Settings
- Select the interface Language that will be used to display captions, notifications, hints, etc.
- Enter a Password to log in to the system. Use upper and lower-case letters. digits, special characters (such as @, ?, %) for better protection of your password. Re-enter password — enter the password again to ensure it has been specified correctly.
- You can select the IP addresses that can access your account. In the Access to the control panel field select the Only IP addresses from the list option. In the List of IP addresses field below, allow access to the control panel to the certain IP addresses.
- Check the Bind session to IP box to allow a user logging in to their account only from the IP address that was used when the user got registered in ispmanager.
- Select a Start page which you are directed to once logged in into the panel.
- Specify the Rows per page parameter. If there are more rows to be displayed than is specified in this field, the extra rows will be moved to the next page.
- Set the maximum Number of records that will be displayed in the lists. If there are more records to be displayed that is specified in this field, the extra records won't be displayed in the control panel. The oldest ones will be hidden.
- Select how Hints to fields will be displayed:
- Active — hints are displayed when the cursor hovers over an input field.
- Passive — hints are displayed only when the cursor hovers over the hint sign.
- Check the Unsaved changes notification box to get on-screen warning notifications about unsaved changes before closing a page.
- Enter the Email address that will be used for system notifications.
- Click Save to save the changes.
Two-step authentication
By default, a user enters only their username and password to log in to the control panel. For better protection of your account, enable the two-step authentication. When this option is activated, a user needs to enter:
- The login and password.
- A one-time digit password generated by a TOTP-authentication mobile app.
