Ispmanager 6 lite, pro, host

System requirements

Server requirements

Third-party software and repositories

Use an "empty" server: a server with only the operating system installed, without any additional services configured or third-party repositories connected. All necessary repositories will be connected automatically during the ispmanager installation.

Virtualization

We recommend using a fault-tolerant dedicated or virtual server based on hypervisor virtualization.

Resources

We recommend allocating all the disk space to the root file system.

Keep in mind that most of the server resources are consumed by the sites and databases hosted on it.

Disk space10 Gb20 Gb or more50 Gb or more

We recommend having at least 4 Gb of RAM to ensure efficient operation of ispmanager:

Supported operating systems

Use the server version of an operating system with the x64 architecture. Desktop versions of operating systems are not supported.

We recommend installing the panel on the server with the latest minor version of the operating system.

Ispmanager does not support updating the server operating system with a change in the major version. Therefore, we recommend choosing an operating system from the list below before installing the panel based on personal preferences and the expected lifespan of the operating system:

  • AlmaLinux 8, 9
  • Debian 11, 12
  • Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 (recommended)
  • Rocky Linux 8

Converting to CloudLinux OS is possible after panel installation.

Network requirements

IP address

The server with ispmanager must use a static IP address specified in the network interface configuration file. If the IP address is assigned to the server using DHCP, correct operation of ispmanager is not guaranteed.

Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are allowed.

Firewall

Open the following ports to allow incoming and outgoing connections:

  • 21/tcp — to exchange data via FTP protocol
  • 22/tcp — for remote access to the server via SSH
  • 110, 143, 993, 995, 587, 465, 25/tcp — to send and receive emails
  • 80, 443/tcp — to handle user requests to websites on the server with ispmanager
  • 1500/tcp — for accessing the ispmanager interface and license operation

Port 1500 plays a key role in license-related mechanisms.

  • 1501/tcp — for operation of external applications via SSL
  • 53/tcp, 53/udp — for domain name servers
  • 3306/tcp — for remote access to the database server

To ensure uninterrupted access to license servers, make sure the following server addresses are available at all times:

  • 146.0.72.149
  • 176.123.174.13
  • 89.108.121.204
  • 2a05:b40:0:728::2
  • 2a03:4900:fffc::401

The ispmanager web interface is supported in the following browsers:

BrowsersMinimum version
Mozilla Firefox70
